christmas letter 2009

Hey Family,
We want to wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. We hope everyone is healthy and happy and enjoying life. This year started off pretty calm. In April we went to Bountiful for a friends wedding. We were able to take a trip to Yellowstone in June and we got to travel through the whole park and spent the night in Cooke City, Mt. We say 2 black bears, lots of buffalo and some bighorn sheep. We got to go to SLC for July 4th for a family reunion ( Hancock side). We got to go camping a few times this year with both families, Clara got to fish for the first time with her daddy and they caught a few fish. She is good at reeling them in. For Ours birthday's we went to see the Bar J Wrangler in Jackson, they are really good and funny. For our 3 year anniversary we were able to go to Provo for the BYU vs Florida State football game where BYU got killed, but it was still fun to have a weekend to ourselves.
Mike is still at Sportsman's Warehouse but he will only be the footwear manager for 1 more month. He has decided to go back to school to be an art teacher. He starts at BYU-Idaho in January and will work at Sportsman's part time. He was able to go Steelhead fishing a few times this year with his friends and dad. And he is wrapping up this year with a metallica concert which is his favorite rock band.
JaNan decided that she needed social interaction beyond her 2 beautiful girls. She got a job at a flower shop working part time and absolutely loves it. She got to have a girls weekend in SLC with her sisters, mom, and sister in law. She had a blast and hope this will be a yearly thing. Her 2 best friends came to visit in October and she loves spending time with them because they live far away.
Clara is such a little helper. She will do almost anything after saying no at least twice. She love to help mommy cook and put the dishes away from the dishwasher. She is a great sharer, but also a big trickster. She is a ham for the camera, she always lifts her head up like she is a gangster. She repeats everything I say. She is still a toe head blond.
Carlie is such a cutie. She likes to look at her self in the mirror and smile. She is very passionate about her stuff especially her dollies. She always wants to be were the action is. She knows the word "treat " and knows where mommy hide them. She has started using 2 word sentences. She is still a bigger daddy's girl than her sister.
Well I could go on forever. We are truly blessed to be able to worship our Lord and Savior.
Love, The Brown Family-- Mike, JaNan, Clara , and Carlie
(JaNan Brown thru Nan Hancock thru Lee Peterson)
